'Between the Lions' road show comes to the Seattle area
Cleo and Lionel, the lioness and her cub from PBS' "Between the Lions," are taking their early-literacy message on the road.
Cleo and Lionel, the lioness and her cub from PBS' "Between the Lions," are taking their early-literacy message on the road. Little fans and their grown-ups can see the live, interactive show this weekend at the following times and locations:
• 2 and 4 p.m. Friday, Bellevue Regional Library, 1111 110th Ave. N.E., Bellevue; all free tickets have been distributed, but limited additional seating may be available (425-450-1765 or www.kcls.org).
• 11 a.m. and 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m. Saturday, in the Zoomazium of Woodland Park Zoo, 5500 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle; included in zoo admission of $11-$16.50. Space is limited and attendance is on a first-come, first-serve basis (206-548-2500 or www.zoo.org).
• 10 and 11 a.m. Sunday, KCTS Studios, 401 Mercer St., Seattle; free tickets at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/71483.
• 2:30 and 4 p.m. Sunday, Imagine Children's Museum, 1502 Wall St., Everett; included in museum admission of $7. Space is limited and attendance is on a first-come, first-serve basis (425-258-1006 or www.imaginecm.org).
