'Aliens' on AMC is a Wednesday TV pick
Watch the movie "Aliens" at 8 p.m. on AMC.
"Aliens"
Sigourney Weaver earned an Oscar nomination for her work as Ellen Ripley in this terrific 1986 sci-fi sequel, and it's easy to see why. Not only does she kick major alien butt, but she also has some great human moments. The final standoff with the Alien Queen is classic. Tonight, 8 p.m. on AMC (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
