"BREAKING BAD"
AMC has another great series that you're probably not watching. No immaculately suited 1960s ad execs here; "Breaking Bad" is set firmly in the here and now, and features a revelatory performance by Bryan Cranston (yes, the dad from "Malcolm in the Middle") as a high-school chemistry teacher, diagnosed with cancer, who starts cooking and selling meth to provide for his family. Not for everyone, but if you're a fan of challenging and rewarding storytelling, give it a try. A repeat of the Season 2 opener at 10 p.m. tonight, AMC (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
