Tonight: Break out the egg nog and park your tail on the couch for "Christmas in Rockefeller Center." For many, the Christmas season doesn't really start until they light up the big ol' tree in the Big Apple. Al Roker hosts this year's telecast, which is bolstered with illuminating performances from the likes of Beyoncé, Tony Bennett, the Jonas Brothers, Harry Connick Jr., David Cook, Faith Hill and Rascal Flatts. It's all broadcast in high definition to provide some extra sparkle. 8 p.m., NBC.
Tonight: In these tough times, a lot of us could use a "Secret Millionaire." It's a reality series in which an ultra-wealthy person goes undercover in a poor neighborhood. Eventually, he or she awards a pile of cash to deserving residents. 8 p.m., Fox.
Tonight: Yes, we've all seen it a million times, but somehow "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" still maintains his magic. 8 p.m., CBS.
Tonight: The "Grammy Nominations Live: Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" is a blatant attempt to build buzz for next February's awards fest. The show features announcements of this year's nominations and performances by, among others, Celine Dion, the Foo Fighters, B.B. King, John Mayer and Taylor Swift. 9 p.m., CBS.
Thursday: We can't close out the year until Barbara Walters weighs in with "The 10 Most fascinating People of 2008." Her list includes, among others, Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Tina Fey, Rush Limbaugh, Miley Cyrus and Michael Phelps. Something tells us Barack Obama and Sarah Palin might be in there, as well. 10:01 p.m., ABC.
Friday: "Greatest Holiday Moments: TV & Film Countdown" is a special that lives up to its title with memorable clips from classics such as "It's a Wonderful Life," "A Christmas Story" and others. 8 p.m., NBC.
Saturday: Heather Locklear plays a love-starved divorcee in the TV film "Flirting With Forty." Eventually she gets her groove back when she goes to Hawaii and finds herself in an unexpected romance with a younger man. 9 p.m., Lifetime.
