LOS ANGELES — Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts is pregnant with twins, according to People magazine, which reports that Roberts' spokeswoman said the star was due to give birth to twins early next year.

Roberts, who won the best-actress Oscar in 2001 for "Erin Brockovich," married cinematographer Daniel Moder in July 2002.

Night-vision-goggled ushers patrol 'Potter' film for pirates

LONDON — Ushers at British cinemas showing the new Harry Potter film have been issued military-style night-vision goggles to thwart cinema pirates.

Vue Cinemas said its staff will be spending all two hours and 22 minutes of "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" scanning the theaters to find anyone trying to secretly record the film.

It opens Friday in the U.S.

Hawaiian music may get its own Grammy category

HONOLULU — Hawaiian music will have its own category for the first time next year if the National Academy of Arts & Sciences approves. The academy's Board of Trustees already has given its OK, according to state officials.

The possibility of a new category is the result of more than 20 years of grass-roots efforts.
