Bellevue's DreamBox lands Canadian distribution deal
Posted by Brier Dudley
Bellevue education startup DreamBox Learning has landed a pretty major distribution contact.
The company is announcing today that education publishing giant Pearson will market and distribute DreamBox's online math learning system to schools and consumers in Canada.
"The Canadian school system and parents alike are eager to tap quality online learning products that reflect a research-based approach to learning, while offering an appropriate engagement for students," Marty Keast, Pearson Canada's school division president, said in the release. "DreamBox Learning K-2 Math delivers on both fronts so it was a clear choice to add it to the Pearson portfolio."
DreamBox was started in 2006, raised $7.1 million from angel investors and launched its K-2 product and learning platform in January.
