Age: 22, born May 31, 1982 in Pittsburgh.

College: Connecticut.

Acquired: Selected in the third round (25th overall) in the 2005 draft.

Hometown: Pittsburgh.

College experience: Played with Bird on UConn's 2002 NCAA championship team and won another title in 2003. Artistic touch: "I like to draw cartoon characters," Battle said. "But I can't draw offhand; I have to look at something to draw it. I just recently began to draw humans. I do Taz [Tasmanian Devil], Bugs [Bunny] and Simba [from 'The Lion King']."
