ATLANTA — Iziane Castro Marques scored 30 points and Angel McCoughtry added 20 to help the Atlanta Dream beat the Sacramento Monarchs 103-83 Tuesday night for its eighth victory in 10 games.
Marques, a former Storm player, made 13 of 21 shots for Atlanta (15-12), which is second to league-leading Indiana in the Eastern Conference.
"We got in a good flow and ran as much as we could," Castro Marques said. "We are having so much fun. This team is just getting better and better."
Rebekkah Brunson scored 15 points for Sacramento (9-19), which has the worst record in the league.

Shock 90, at Sun 70
Katie Smith scored 19 points to lead Detroit (12-14) past Connecticut (14-13). The Shock has won three in a row.
Sandrine Gruda led the Sun with 19 points.
At Sparks 75, Sky 63
Candace Parker scored 21 points and Lisa Leslie collected 21 points and 12 rebounds as Los Angeles (14-13) beat Chicago (13-15) to extend its winning streak to six games.
Shyra Ely scored 16 points for the Sky, which has lost three games in a row and four of six.
