UNCASVILLE, Conn. — Lindsay Whalen scored 21 points to lead the Connecticut Sun to an 87-64 victory over the Sacramento Monarchs for its first 3-0 start in franchise history.
Connecticut made 13 three-pointers Saturday, including 10 in the second half.
Rebekkah Brunson had 19 points for the Monarchs (1-3).
