Lions add S Marvin White off waivers from Cowboys
The Detroit Lions claimed safety Marvin White off waivers and signed linebacker Zach Follett from their practice squad.

The Detroit Lions claimed safety Marvin White off waivers and signed linebacker Zach Follett from their practice squad.
Detroit made room on the roster Wednesday by releasing linebacker Darnell Bing and putting wide receiver Adam Jennings on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
The Dallas Cowboys cut White last week after he contributed on special teams in three games for them. He started 13 games the previous two years for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Detroit drafted Follett in the seventh round and are giving him a chance to replace Bing on special teams.
