The Denver Broncos have reached injury settlements with cornerback Joshua Bell and guard Matt McChesney.
Bell had a knee injury and McChesney an ankle injury. Both were released Wednesday.
Bell is a second-year pro from Baylor who played for the Broncos last season and McChesney a third-year player from the University of Colorado who signed as a free agent this year after spending time with the Dolphins, Jets and Rams.
Bell started five games as a rookie last year in place of an injured Champ Bailey after his promotion from the practice squad. He finished with 43 tackles and four pass breakups in nine games for the Broncos.
