Wizards F Jamison has bone spur removed from ankle
The Washington Wizards say forward Antawn Jamison had surgery to remove a bone spur from his right ankle.
The Washington Wizards say forward Antawn Jamison had surgery to remove a bone spur from his right ankle.
The two-time NBA All-Star is expected to make a full recovery.
The operation was in New York on Thursday.
Jamison averaged 22.2 points and 8.9 rebounds last season, both team highs. The Wizards went 19-63, the second-worst record in the NBA.
