Caron Butler missed the Washington Wizards' game against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday with a tight left hamstring.
Butler will have an MRI exam Monday.
The forward sat out the second half of Friday night's loss to the Orlando Magic after the hamstring tightened up. He also missed three games earlier this month with soreness in the same hamstring.
Butler is second on the Wizards in scoring (20.2) and rebounding (6.2) and leads the team in assists (4.5).
