James passes Price as Cavs steals leader

LeBron James added another record to his growing resume Tuesday night.

CLEVELAND —

LeBron James added another record to his growing resume Tuesday night.

Cleveland's superstar forward became the Cavaliers' career leader in steals, moving past Mark Price in the first quarter against the Toronto Raptors.

In the opening minute, James tipped away a pass and went in for an uncontested dunk to give the Cavs a 4-0 lead.

It was James' 735th steal, one more than Price, who played in 582 games for Cleveland from 1986-95. James has played in 412 career games.

During a timeout, the record was announced and Cleveland's crowd rose and gave a standing ovation for James, who raised his arms overhead in return.

Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas entered the game needing four rebounds to pass Brad Daugherty (5,227) for the most in franchise history.
