Report: England tour in jeopardy
England's ongoing cricket tour of India could be suspended or canceled in the wake of terror attacks that have killed at least 101 people in Mumbai.
England's ongoing cricket tour of India could be suspended or canceled in the wake of terror attacks that have killed at least 101 people in Mumbai.
Representatives of the England and Wales Cricket Board and the Board of Control for Cricket in India were meeting Thursday when New Delhi Television (NDTV) reported that the English squad had refused to continue its seven-week tour following the deadly overnight attacks.
It was not clear if the reports related only to the limited-overs series, which India leads 5-0 with two matches remaining, or the entire tour including two test matches.
England has delayed its departure from Cuttack, where it played on Wednesday, to Guwahati ahead of Saturday's sixth one-day international.
