Reggie Bush was scratched for the New Orleans Saints' home game against the Green Bay Packers on Monday night.
Bush, who had arthroscopic surgery Oct. 20 to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, has practiced intermittently the past two weeks and said last Thursday he hoped to be ready to play soon.
However, he rested on Friday and coach Sean Payton listed him as questionable. Saints officials confirmed before the game that Bush was going to be one of New Orleans' inactive players, meaning he would miss his fourth straight game.
The Saints went 2-1 in their first three games without Bush and were 3-4 when he played. Even after missing three games, Bush remained second on the club in receptions with 42 for 366 yards and three touchdowns. He has 294 yards and two TDs rushing this season and has returned three punts for touchdowns, including two the last time the Saints played on Monday night, when they lost 30-27 to Minnesota on Oct. 6.
