Davis misses Clippers game at Utah

Baron Davis missed the Los Angeles Clippers' game at Utah on Saturday night with a sore left hip.

SALT LAKE CITY —

Baron Davis missed the Los Angeles Clippers' game at Utah on Saturday night with a sore left hip.

Davis was injured Friday night in the second quarter against Denver and was inactive Saturday for the trip to Utah. The Clippers were also without center Marcus Camby, who has missed all three games this season with a bruised right heel.

Utah point guard Deron Williams (sprained left ankle) remained inactive and the Jazz played without coach Jerry Sloan, who was home with flu symptoms. Assistant Phil Johnson took over for Sloan.
