Buccaneers wide receiver Ike Hilliard was driven off the field in the second quarter of Tampa Bay's game against Seattle on Sunday night after a hard collision with two Seahawks linebackers.
Buccaneers wide receiver Ike Hilliard was driven off the field in the second quarter of Tampa Bay's game against Seattle on Sunday night after a hard collision with two Seahawks linebackers.
Hilliard was sitting up on the cart as it left the stadium, after being tended to for 5 minutes by medical personnel.
Hilliard was attempting to make a catch inside the Seattle 10, with Lofa Tatupu on his back and Leroy Hill delivering a hard shot from the front side. Hill's hit was so strong, Hilliard immediately crumpled to the turf and Tatupu suffered a concussion.
Tatupu's return was questionable. There was no immediate word on Hilliard's availability for the remainder of the game.
Seattle challenged the play, and after that review, officials determined Hilliard caught the ball and fumbled it, allowing the Seahawks to take over at their own 4 with 12:48 left in the half.
