Little out for Rams; K Robinson out for Seattle

Koren Robinson's much-hyped return to the Seattle Seahawks will have to wait.

SEATTLE —

Koren Robinson's much-hyped return to the Seattle Seahawks will have to wait.

Robinson was declared inactive for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams. Robinson was bothered by a sore knee that developed during practice Wednesday, limiting his work during the week. Coach Mike Holmgren said it was not surprising the soreness developed because Robinson had not been doing any football related work since being cut by Green Bay in May.

Robinson's return to the Seahawks for the first time since the 2004 season dominated much of the headlines this week as Seattle looked for answers to its injury-plagued receiver corps. The Seahawks also traded for Keary Colbert this week in a deal with Denver. Colbert, Billy McMullen, Courtney Taylor and Michael Bumpus were Seattle's four active receivers for Sunday's game.

St. Louis was without defensive end Leonard Little (hamstring) causing a reshuffling along the line. Rookie Chris Long moved from right to left end to take Little's spot, and James Hall started at right end.

The Rams also were without starting offensive guard Jacob Bell (hamstring), moving Adam Goldberg into the starting lineup to replace Bell.
