Arlington Eagles
Location: Arlington

Outlook: With the offense led by Parduhn, the Eagles should be able to score. But Arlington is young, and depth is a concern.
Lake Stevens Vikings
Location: Lake Stevens

Impact newcomers: RB/DB Duke Dolphin, 6-0, 180, So.; C/DT Kalena Richardson, 6-0, 240, Jr.
Outlook: The Vikings return lots of speed and a battle-tested QB in Baker. Size and experience could be shortcomings.
Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks
Location: Marysville
Coach: Brandon Carson (2nd year, 5-5)
2007: 5-5, 4-4
Key returnees (*returning starter): RB/LB Ryan Sterly, 5-10, 200, Sr.; WR/DB *Levi Cartas, 6-3, 175, Sr.; RB/OLB *Caleb Posey, 5-10, 180, Sr.; QB/OLB Devin Peterson, 6-0, 200, Sr.; G/ILB *Mike Stone, 5-10, 205, Sr.
Impact newcomers: RB/OLB Colton Smith, 5-9, 200, Sr.; C/DT Brett Parsons, 6-2, 285, Jr.; RB/DB Chris Larson, 5-10, 170, Jr.
Outlook: Can the Tommies make the leap from .500 to the playoffs? Their experience can't hurt. Return specialist and all-around athlete Cartas will also have a major say.
Monroe Bearcats
Location: Monroe
Coach: Dave Telford (1st year)
2007: 0-10, 0-8
Key returnees (*returning starter): TB/FS *Austin Bray, 5-11, 185, Sr.; QB/SS *Brian Sonneveldt, 6-1, 200, Sr.; FB/LB *Sam Kenagy, 5-9, 205, Sr.; OL/DL *Alex Martin, 6-1, 260, Jr.; WR/CB Connor Shelford, 6-3, 195, Sr.

Outlook: Monroe can lean on the return of Bray and Sonneveldt. The Bearcats have talent, but the test will be how they handle adversity.
Oak Harbor Wildcats

Key returnees (*returning starter): RB/LB *Stephen Lewis, 6-0, 210, Sr.; OL/DL *Chris Neumiller, 6-3, 220, Sr.; OL/LB Bennit Richter, 5-9, 200, Sr.; 6-1, 205, Sr.; RB/LB Donovan Hunt, 5-11, 185, Jr.; OL/DL Javon Payne, 5-8, 220, Jr.; RB/DB Derrick Clarritt, 5-10, 170, Jr.
Impact newcomers: QB James Jordan, 5-10, 160, Jr.; OL/DL Nick Rouser, 6-5, 220, Jr.
Outlook: The Wildcats graduated QB Johnny Encinas and stud receivers Mike Bell and Rodrick Rumble. But biggest loss could be veteran head coach Dave Ward, now head coach at Archbishop Murphy, who was 111-67 in 17 seasons. Turner was promoted from defensive coordinator.
Snohomish Panthers
Location: Snohomish

2007: 9-2, 7-1
Key returnees (*returning starter): C/DE *Marlyn Anderson, 6-4, 255, Sr.; TE/DL *Jake Reinhard, 6-4, 245, Sr.; DE/G *Steven Falls, 6-1, 230, Sr.; DE/RB *Cameron Woolsey, 6-1, 170, Sr.

Outlook: The Panthers graduated bruising running back Derek Jones, who will be missed dearly. But Snohomish returns more than half of its defensive starters and will challenge for a playoff spot.

Impact newcomers: OL/DL Ryan Miller, 5-10, 195, Sr.; OL/DL Alex Hatley, 6-2, 260, Jr,; OL/DL Dexter Charles, 6-4, 250, So.; OL/DL Michael Randall, 6-1, 230, Jr.; OL/DL Cody Landau, 6-1, 240, Jr.; OL/DL Slone Lewis, 6-1, 240, Jr.
Outlook: The Spartans are young, but big. The inexperienced offensive line could be a strength if it matures. The defense will be solid, anchored by linebackers Enquist and Zipp.
