Spurs re-sign G Michael Finley
The Spurs have re-signed guard Michael Finley.
The Spurs have re-signed guard Michael Finley.
Terms of the deal weren't released.
The 35-year-old Finley started 61 games last season, with sixth man award winner Manu Ginobili providing a spark for San Antonio behind him. Finley averaged 10.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists, playing in all 82 games in his 13th NBA season. He shot 37 percent from 3-point range.
Finley averaged 6.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and one assist during 17 playoff games last season.
In his second season with San Antonio in 2007, Finley was part of the team's run to a fourth title in nine seasons.
Finley, a two-time All-Star, was first signed by the Spurs in September 2005.
