Bud Allin, 62: Bremerton native, won five PGA Tour golf events between 1971 and 1976.
Steve Barber, 68: Left-handed pitcher was a member of the 1969 Seattle Pilots.
Travis Britt, 19: Kentridge High School linebacker.
Herman Brix, 100: Tacoma native, UW football player, Olympic shot putter. Became an actor, changing his name to Bruce Bennett.
Tommy Byrne, 87: Left-hander won 20 games for Seattle Rainiers in 1954.
Jimmie Cain, 94: UW All-America running back in 1936. Was a Pac-8 Conference football official, working two Rose Bowl games and 14 East-West Shrine games.
Mike Chandler, 56: Longtime softball coach at Stanwood High School.
Vince Coluccio, 77: Seattle native was an owner of Sounders soccer team.
Dick D'Alessandro, 61: Coached youth sports for more than 30 years in Kirkland.
Fred Dean, 55: Franklin High School graduate, UW receiver, longtime youth track coach.
Terry Ennis, 63: Archbishop Murphy High football coach, was head coach for 36 years, winning 287 games and three state titles.
Eddie Feigner, 81: Hard-throwing softball pitcher from Walla Walla threw 930 no-hitters, 238 perfect games and struck out 141,517 batters.

Buzz Fiorini, 91: Started Fiorini Ski School in 1947 and Fiorini Sports, a ski and winter sports store, at University Village in 1960.
Dr. Homer Harris, 90: Garfield High School and University of Iowa football captain. He was a dermatologist in Seattle from 1954 to 2000.
Tony Harris, 36: Garfield High School and Washington State basketball player died in Brazil, where he was playing professionally.
Ruth Jessen, 70: Roosevelt High School graduate played briefly for the Seattle U. men's golf team. She won 11 LPGA Tour events.
Dennis Johnson, 52: Former Sonics guard was MVP of the 1979 NBA Finals, helping Seattle win its only league title.
Tommy Kron, 63: Guard played two seasons for the Sonics, including the team's first, 1967-68.
Norm Lowery, 84: Basketball coach at Ferndale High School, Everett High School and Everett Community College.
Jesse Marunde, 27: Sequim weightlifter once earned World's Strongest Man title.
Robert Moawad, 66: Lakewood resident was Central Washington basketball and baseball captain, a high-school basketball coach and founder of Edge Learning Institute.
Georg Meyers, 91: Former Seattle Times sports editor and columnist.
Clint Names, 68: Stadium High School graduate, basketball and golf star at UW.
Ted Pearson, 67: Former sports editor of The News Tribune in Tacoma.
David Piland, 43: Everett Silvertips announcer.
Dwight Pool, 77: Gig Harbor resident was a running back at Washington State and football coach for 23 years at state high schools and junior colleges.
Kim Raney, 26: League basketball MVP at Issaquah High; Whitman College basketball player.
Joe Rantz, 93: Member of the eight-oared UW crew that won gold medal at the 1936 Olympics.
Rob Reagle, 37: Longtime Mariners clubhouse assistant.
Rollie Robbins, 74: High school football coach for 43 years, including 16 years at Interlake and 11 at Seattle Prep.
Hank Rybus, 86: Executive director of Washington Interscholastic Activities Association, 1963-82.
Bill Scott, 58: "Bill the Beerman" was a vendor at the Kingdome who became Seattle's most famous sports fan/cheerleader.
Carly Stowell, 14: Kentlake High freshman basketball star, died in Raleigh, N.C., where she was preparing to play in a tournament.
Mizuki Takahashi, 36: Seattle mountain climber reached 50 peaks in seven years. She died while climbing Mount McKinley.
William Teufel, 82: Garfield High School graduate was a golf course architect.
Tom Tipps, 90: UW defensive coordinator and linebackers coach 1957-1969, helping Huskies to three Rose Bowls.
Bill Tomaras, 85: The state's "Father of Wrestling," organized the first state high-school championship tournament in 1953.
Edo Vanni, 89: Seattle Rainiers baseball star, later became a manager and general manager, and worked in the front office for the Seattle Pilots. Attended Queen Anne High and UW.
Mike Warchol, 35: Editor of WashingtonPreps.com.
George Ziegenfuss, 90: All-league basketball player at UW. Renton High grad was head coach at San Diego State for 21 years.
