Steve Vallos, an offensive lineman from Wake Forest who was the Seahawks' seventh-round choice in the NFL draft, has signed a four-year contract, sources confirmed Thursday.
Financial terms were not available.
Vallos is the fifth Seattle draft choice to sign. The team already has signed sixth-round picks Courtney Taylor and Jordan Kent, linebacker Will Herring (fifth round) and offensive lineman Mansfield Wrotto (fourth round).
Vallos played guard and tackle in college and even center at the East-West Shrine Game for college all-stars. That fits well with the Seahawks' philosophy of having versatile offensive linemen who can play multiple positions.
The team now has three draft choices left to sign.
