Garfield High grad Marcelus Kemp, an all-WAC pick who finished his junior year at Nevada, decided Monday to return to school.
Kemp averaged 18.5 points for the Wolf Pack, helping them to a fourth straight regular-season conference title.
"Marcelus has used the NBA early entry process exactly as I feel one should," said Nevada coach Mark Fox. "He has learned how he can get better in the eyes of the NBA, and he will."
Others returning to school include Virginia's Sean Singletary, California's DeVon Hardin, George Washington's Maureece Rice and Illinois' Shaun Pruitt.
Players staying in the draft include Georgetown's Jeff Green, the Big East player of the year, Oklahoma State's JamesOn Curry and Georgia Tech teammates Thaddeus Young and Javaris Crittenton.
Monday was the deadline for early NBA draft entrants who hadn't hired an agent to withdraw and retain their NCAA eligibility.
