Offseason buyers remorse for Mariners?
The Mariners plugged three holes in their rotation by signing two free agents (Miguel Batista and Jeff Weaver) and making a trade (Horacio Ramirez). Another trade brought designated hitter Jose Vidro, and free agent Jose Guillen was signed to play right field. Free agent Chris Reitsma was signed to bolster the bullpen. The Mariners are only 15 games into the season, but the results have not been what they'd hoped for:
