Warren Moon, the former Huskies and Seahawks quarterback who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August, was arrested for drunken driving early Friday morning in Kirkland.

Warren Moon, the former Huskies and Seahawks quarterback who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August, was arrested for drunken driving early Friday morning in Kirkland.
Moon was pulled over around 2 a.m. Friday when a state trooper in downtown Kirkland saw him speeding, trooper Courtney Stewart said.
"Upon investigation, the trooper ended up arresting him for DUI," Stewart said.
Moon has been an analyst on Seahawks radio broadcasts for the past three seasons. He did not return phone calls Monday.
Moon was the most valuable player in the 1978 Rose Bowl, leading Washington to a 28-21 victory over Michigan in his final college game.
Moon began his pro career in Canada, leading the Edmonton Eskimos to an unprecedented five straight Grey Cup victories before beginning a 17-year NFL career. He was with the Seahawks in 1997 and 1998, playing in 25 games.
The DUI case will now go to district court, where Moon is expected to face charges.
