The Washington Huskies are expected to announce Charlie Baggett as wide receivers coach today, reuniting Tyrone Willingham with one of his oldest friends in football.

Baggett has 10 years of NFL coaching experience, most recently working with the Miami Dolphins the last two seasons . He held the position of assistant head coach for offense with the Dolphins.

He also has 20 years of collegiate coaching experience, including 14 at Michigan State, where he and Willingham played quarterback together in the early 1970s. Baggett served as associate head coach at Michigan State from 1995-98, his most recent college experience.

Like Willingham, Baggett is a North Carolina native.

Baggett replaces Eric Yarber, who left for Arizona State in December. He will be the only new assistant on Willingham's staff next season.
