Dan Taylor
Meadowdale coach
In his second year as Mavericks coach, Taylor has led his team to a 23-0 record, No. 2 state ranking and back-to-back WesCo South Division championships and is shooting for a second straight Class 3A state tournament berth. The 30-year-old has continued the winning tradition of a Lynnwood school that has missed state once in the past 15 seasons.
Courtney Vandersloot
Kentwood
Guard, 5-8, Sr.
Two-time MVP of the South Puget Sound League North Division is a key reason the unbeaten, top-ranked Conquerors from Covington are headed back to the Class 4A state tournament for a second straight year. She averages 25.7 points, scoring 30 or more in five games. A complete player, she also averages 6.6 assists, 4.5 steals and 4.2 rebounds. Signed with Gonzaga.
Nia Jackson
Chief Sealth
Guard, 5-6, Sr.
On a team with three Pac-10 recruits, Jackson stood out with her speed and defensive intensity. The Oregon-bound Jackson averaged 13.1 points and eight assists during the regular season to lead the top-ranked Seahawks from West Seattle, who were the Metro League champs. A standout in track, Jackson finished third at state in the 100-meter hurdles last spring.

Mackenzie Argens
Roosevelt
Post, 6-3, Sr.
At times unstoppable inside, Argens averaged 13.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 2.4 steals during the regular season, despite limited minutes because of her unbeaten Seattle team's depth and numerous blowout wins. Great vision and soft hands. Has signed with Washington.
Kristi Kingma
Jackson
Guard, 5-10, Jr.
The leader of the Timberwolves has guided the Mill Creek team to its second straight trip to the Class 4A state tournament. Kingma, a Washington-bound junior, averaged 18.1 points during the regular season. The Timberwolves' captain is also a captain on Jackson's soccer and track-and-field teams.
Rachele Kloke
Stanwood
Guard, 5-11, Sr.
Kloke's stats speak for themselves. She averaged 23.3 points, 11.6 rebounds, nearly four steals and 2.5 blocks. The Idaho-bound senior had 14 double-doubles in 20 games this season and is the career points leader at Stanwood with 1,273 points in 77 career games. She scored 30 or more points three times this season, including a career-high 35.
