Son of Steve Largent indicted on sex charges

The Associated Press

DOVER, Del. – The youngest son of NFL great and former Oklahoma congressman Steve Largent has been indicted by a Delaware grand jury on charges of soliciting an underage girl for sex, according to court records.

Kramer Largent, 20, of Tulsa, Okla., was indicted July 3 by a Kent County grand jury on four felony counts of sexual solicitation of a child under 16. The indictment said the alleged solicitation occurred between Sept. 18 and Oct. 2, 2005. Other details weren't available.

Officials have issued a warrant for Largent, who is expected to travel to Delaware within the next two weeks to answer the charges.

"He's going to turn himself in voluntarily," deputy attorney general Robert O'Neill Jr. said. "He's been cooperative." Efforts to reach the Largent family for comment weren't immediately successful Friday
