Capsule Preview: Sonics at Minnesota

When: 5 p.m., tonight

Where: Target Center

TV/Radio: FSN/KJR (950)

Records: Seattle 12-14, Minnesota 13-12

Bottom line: The second of four meetings between Seattle and Minnesota. Ray Allen tallied 11 of his game-high 32 points in overtime to lead the Sonics to a 107-102 victory against Minnesota on Nov. 4 at KeyArena. Seattle has a three-game winning streak against Minnesota. ... Seattle is third in the Northwest Division and 1 ½ games behind Minnesota. The Sonics would rise to the top of the standings with a victory tonight and a win on Thursday in Denver. ... Because of injuries in the backcourt, the Sonics might implement their sixth starting lineup. The current quintet has started the past six games and has managed a 3-3 record. Minnesota has used just two starting lineups this season.

Injuries: Sonics, G Luke Ridnour (chest contusion) and G Rick Brunson (left plantar fascia tear) are out. G Ronald Murray (two dislocated fingers, right hand) and C/F Mikki Moore (lower back strain) are questionable. Minnesota, C Michael Olowokandi (bursitis right elbow) and F Mark Madsen (bruised back) are questionable.
