Seahawks two-minute drill

Player of the game

Seahawks WR Joe Jurevicius: With a team-high eight receptions, including two for TDs, he was Matt Hasselbeck's top target. His 137 receiving yards tied his career high.

Play of the game

Josh Brown's game-winning, 36-yard field goal with 2:49 remaining in overtime.

Turning point

Well, you could say each time Giants K Jay Feely missed a field goal, any of which would have won the game. But the real shift in momentum occurred on Michael Boulware's interception of an Eli Manning pass with 6:55 left in the third quarter. Boulware made the interception at the Seattle 4 and returned it to the 44. It blunted a promising Giants drive and ignited a momentum swing toward the Seahawks, who then drove 56 yards for a go-ahead touchdown, a 16-yard scoring strike from Hasselbeck to Jurevicius.

Sunday's Seahawks Surprises

DT Rocky Bernard, who had one sack and now leads all NFL interior linemen with 8 ½ sacks.

WR D.J. Hackett, who continues to be a force. He had two catches for 47 yards, including a back-breaking, 38-yard reception in overtime that put the Seahawks close to field-goal range.

"I thought our crowd was tremendous. There were so many procedure and movement penalties, and I think that had a lot to do with how noisy it was. I think this is a difficult place to play for visitors, I really do."

— Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren

By the Numbers

4 Shaun Alexander set a club record with four consecutive games with 100 or more yards rushing.

8 Alexander set a career high and tied Chris Warren's 1995 club record with eight 100-yard games on the season.

11 False starts by Giants.

16 Penalties by the Giants, their most since 1949.

6-6 Seahawks converting on fourth downs this season.

101 Seahawks OG Chris Gray set a club record with his 101st consecutive game played.

151 Yards for Tiki Barber, the first opposing runner to rush for more than 100 yards against the Seahawks this season.

Injury Report

Giants: None.

Seahawks: CB Kelly Herndon suffered a knee injury in the second quarter. He was replaced by Andre Dyson. Holmgren said Herndon, who was on crutches in the fourth quarter, will be out "a couple of weeks." ... DT Chuck Darby limped off the field in the third quarter with a knee injury, but later returned.
