Capsule preview: Sonics vs. Timberwolves

When: 7:30 p.m. today

Where: KeyArena

TV/radio: ESPN, FSN/950 AM

Records: Seattle 0-1, Minnesota 1-0.

Bottom line: The last game for the Sonics before they begin an 11-day, six-game road trip on Sunday. ... The Sonics haven't started a season 0-2 since 1991. ... Ray Allen averaged 28.8 points against Minnesota last season to lead the Sonics to wins in three out of four games. He was the leading scorer three times and never scored less than 24 points.

Injuries: Sonics — C Vitaly Potapenko (left hamstring strain) and F Danny Fortson (left knee contusion) are probable. Timberwolves — G Troy Hudson (strained left hip flexor) is questionable.

Tickets: About 1,800 remain for tonight's game.
