Tickets: Single day: adults $8, students/senior citizens $6. Two-day pass: adults $13, students/senior citizens $10.

Returning two-time champions: Kerry Tannhauser, Ballard, Sr., 200 free and 500 free; Evan Bernier, Inglemoor, Sr., 100 fly (1st in 200 IM in 2003, 2nd in 100 back).

Others to watch: Ryan Verlatti, Stadium, Sr., 200 free and 100 free; Erich Matulic, Decatur, Sr., 200 IM and 500 free; Greg Hulse, Kentridge, Jr., 100 free and 50 free; Eric Johnson, Sr., Decatur, 100 breast and 200 IM.

The scoop: Tannhauser will have his hands full trying to defend his 200 free title when he faces Verlatti. Verlatti won the 200 and was second in the 100 free as a freshman three years ago before shifting his focus to club swimming. Now that he's back swimming in the high-school ranks, the 200 free should be one of the weekend's best races.
