Others to watch: Evan Griffiths, Lakeside, So., 200 free and 500 free; Ben Bruce, Mount Rainier, Sr., 500 free and 100 back; Patrick Goodwin, Seattle Prep, So., 50 free and 100 fly; James Schuyleman, Liberty, Jr., 100 fly and 100 back; Russ Mahan, Sammamish, So., 100 breast and 50 free.

The scoop: No one is expected to keep the Rams from winning their third consecutive title. The more intriguing battle will be the race for second between O'Dea, Seattle Prep and Mercer Island. Wilcox, who is heavily favored to win his third consecutive diving title, can make it eight in a row for the Wilcox family. His brother Justin won in 2002, and brother Zach won four in a row (1998-2001).
