Thursday

Miami at Detroit, 5 p.m., TNT. Could be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Pistons have the best defense in the East and the Heat is the conference's top shooting team.

Friday

Philadelphia at Denver, 5 p.m., ESPN2. Carmelo Anthony should recover from a sprained left ankle in time to host the 76ers, who play the third game of their seven-game trip.
