Minor League Baseball By Seattle Times staff
EUGENE, Ore. Everett starter Aaron Jensen pitched a season-high 6-2/3 innings last night as the AquaSox beat the Eugene Emeralds 7-4 in a Northwest League baseball game. Jensen improved to 4-1 this season. The AquaSox (19-12) won their third straight game and gained a game on second-place Salem-Keizer in the West Division. Everett, which has not been out of first place this season, increased its lead to three games. Everett second baseman Yung Chi Chen led the offense with a double, home run and two runs scored. Chad Fillinger got the final four outs for his first pro save. Everett has not committed an error in the series. Lachlan Dale and Billy Hogan hit solo home runs for Eugene.
