PORTLAND Tagg Bozied hit a game-winning grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning and then was carted off the field on a stretcher in the Portland Beavers' 8-5 Pacific Coast League victory over the Tacoma Rainiers last night. Bozied injured his left knee in the celebration at the plate after his slam, which lifted the Beavers to a comeback win. Bozied, 24, went down at the feet of his teammates just after reaching the plate. The Rainiers had intentionally walked Yamid Haad with one out in the ninth, loading the bases for Bozied. Jamal Strong homered and scored four runs for the Rainiers, who have lost 10 of their past 12 games. A.J. Zapp's RBI double had put Tacoma ahead 5-3 in the top of the ninth. Rainiers box score Beavers 8, Rainiers 5
