EVERETT The Vancouver Canadians averted a series sweep, beating the Everett AquaSox 7-3 in a Northwest League game last night. Thomas Everidge and Javier Herrera both hit home runs for Vancouver. Everidge's second homer in two games helped the Canadians take a 4-2 lead in the third inning. Herrera hit a two-run shot in the seventh inning. Everett first baseman Bryan LaHair went 3 for 5 with three doubles and a run batted in. The AquaSox didn't help themselves by committing three errors and stranding 10 base runners. Canadians 7, Aquasox 3
