Notes: The Sounders conclude the first of two back-to-back road games in the coming two-week period. It's only the second meeting of the two franchises and expansion Edmonton's second home match ever. ... In the first meeting, Seattle and Edmonton played to a 1-1 tie on May 8 in the Sounders' home opener. The Sounders played a man down for the final 32 minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of overtime after Jason Farrell gave Seattle a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute. Aviators forward Jamie Lopresti-Travanic forced overtime with a goal in the 90th minute. ... Edmonton's defensive-minded approach has allowed it to shut out two opponents, but the Aviators have been outscored 4-2 in those five matches. ... After a two-night, two-match swing through Canada, the Sounders return home to host Calgary on Sunday at 5 p.m.
