Brazilian signee Welton, a two-time Major League Soccer All-Star, is probable after sitting out the opener with a strained left groin. ... Sounders starting D Ryan Edwards will sit out the match to serve a one-game suspension for his red-card ejection in the 42nd minute of Saturday's loss in Portland. ...
