ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — Cleveland Browns running back William Green was denied a request to reunite with his fiancée, who is accused of stabbing him.

Judge Maureen Adler Gravens said she needed more information about Green's treatment for drug and alcohol abuse and fiancée Asia Gray's felony-assault case in another court.

Gray has pleaded innocent to stabbing Green in the back with a steak knife Nov. 19. She cried when Gravens said the restraining order against her would remain at least until her next court appearance Feb. 20. Green did not attend the hearing.

Notes

• Tennessee Titans tackle Brad Hopkins was added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster. Hopkins, who had been the first alternate, replaces Kansas City tackle Willie Roaf.

• The Detroit Lions hired Larry Brooks as defensive-line coach. Brooks was an assistant coach with the Seahawks from 1999 to 2002.

• The NFL players union is setting up a program that encourages companies to put their nutritional supplements through rigorous testing to guarantee they're free of banned substances.
