PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — The Seattle Thunderbirds stormed to an early lead, then collapsed under a four-goal barrage in the third period, falling 6-4 to the Prince George Cougars last night.

The T-birds, who had lost 4-1 to the Cougars on Friday night, scored three times in the first period, on goals by Dustin Johner, Adam Huxley and Denis Tolpeko.

Prince George scored once in the first and again in the second. Tyler Metcalfe knocked in a second-period goal for Seattle.

The Cougars intensified their attack in the third, burying Seattle with four unanswered goals.

Seattle is 11-20-7-2, fifth in the U.S. Division.
