--- Could Orlando be the next city to receive an MLS franchise? The league website says commissioner Don Garber will travel to Orlando on March 1 for "exploratory meetings" about possible expansion.

--- A soccer player has added himself to the list of embarrassing sports injuries by running himself over. Kasey Keller is mentioned as another in this story.

--- Kris Boyd was introduced by the Timbers on Tuesday and here's some video of that press conference. Here's the latest on the San Jose Earthquakes stadium efforts. The Union signed five players on Tuesday and announced a new deal with Sheanon Williams earlier today. Lastly, 38-year-old veteran forward Eduardo Sebrango signed with Montreal.

--- More bad news for U.S. national team defender Oguchi Onyewu. He suffered a knee injury that will require surgery and likely keep him out for two months.
