In a bit of offshoot news, Sounders FC trialist goalkeeper Andrew Weber will appear on the 20th season of "The Amazing Race." The reality series airs on CBS starting Feb. 19.

Weber will be on the show with his twin brother, Elliot, who's a singer/songwriter in Phoenix. You can read their bios on the CBS website.

Remarkably, this isn't the first Sounders connection to the show. Midfielder Mike Seamon's sister Katie was on the 17th season a while back.

After training Wednesday, I caught up Weber, who I'm pretty sure is on the right in the picture (they are twins though, so don't hold me to that).

"I can't really say much except it was a good time and I hope that everyone enjoys watching it when it airs," he said.
