Posted by Jose Romero

As of late Friday, 40,000 tickets had been sold to MLS Cup 2009 at Qwest Field in Seattle. Some tickets are still available for purchase. Seattle Sounders FC, the host club, set an MLS record by averaging more than 30,000 fans per game this season.

(Now how many will actually show?) Either way, the west upper deck is now tarp-free and ready for customers.
