In the middle of his second season in charge of Seattle Sounders FC, head coach Sigi Schmid has positioned the club for more on-field success.
He guided the Rave Green to impressive heights in 2009 which included an MLS Cup playoff berth and the U.S. Open Cup championship.
In 2010, Schmid has led Sounders FC into playoff contention, the U.S. Open Cup semis and the group stage of the CONCACAF Champions League. The team is currently riding a four-game winning streak and is 6-0-2 in its last eight matches in all competitions.
The winningest coach in MLS history talked about his red-hot team, playing in the CONCACAF Champions League and much more in a live chat on Aug. 11.
