ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Abby Wambach scored her 100th international goal Sunday in the United States' 1-0 victory over Canada in her hometown.
The forward scored in the 78th minute of an exhibition match that attracted a crowd of 8,433. It was her first goal for the U.S. team since she broke her left leg last July, before the Beijing Olympics.
Nine women, including five Americans, have scored 100 or more goals in international play. Retired U.S. player Mia Hamm leads with 158 goals.
The United States had a 9-1 advantage in shots on goal.

Note
• David Beckham of the Los Angeles Galaxy was booed and taunted by some fans at an exhibition match against AC Milan in Carson, Calif. England icon Beckham, one of the most famous athletes in the world, missed the first half of the MLS season while he was on loan to the Italian team. One sign read: "Go Home Fraud."
As Beckham left the field at halftime, he walked toward the L.A. Riot Squad section and motioned to a fan. A man jumped down from the seats and was subdued by security.
The match was a 2-2 draw.
