OAKLAND, Calif. — Pablo Campos converted a penalty and assisted on Ryan Johnson's sixth goal of the season to lead the San Jose Earthquakes past the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1 Saturday.
The Earthquakes (3-8-3) have seven points in their past four games after getting just five from their first 10.
Jovan Kirovski had his first goal of the season for the Galaxy (2-3-9), which lost for the second straight time after a 10-match unbeaten streak.

At FC Dallas 2, Crew 1
FC Dallas scored twice in the final 10 minutes, including Kenny Cooper's penalty kick in the 87th minute, to snap Columbus' nine-game unbeaten streak. Dallas (3-7-4) was awarded a penalty kick after Crew (4-3-7) defender Chad Marshall was called for a foul in the penalty box.
Real Salt Lake 1,
at Dynamo 1
Brian Ching scored in the 89th minute to give Houston a tie against Real Salt Lake (4-6-4) and extend the Dynamo's unbeaten streak to 11 games. Houston (8-2-4) had a five-game winning streak snapped but is 8-0-3 since a 1-0 loss to D.C. United on April 4. The Dynamo took over sole possession of first place in the Western Conference.
At Rapids 3, D.C. United 0
Omar Cummings scored twice and added an assist to help Colorado (5-2-5) extend its home unbeaten streak over D.C. United (5-2-8) to nine. Cummings found the back of the net just before halftime from a near-impossible angle to give the Rapids a 2-0 lead. Colin Clark scored in the second half for Colorado.
At Fire 1, San Luis 0

Brian McBride scored on a pass from Cuauhtemoc Blanco in the 69th minute to give Chicago a victory over San Luis in the opening game of the SuperLiga.

at Chivas USA 1
Jesus Duenas and Armando Pulido scored to give UANL Tigres of Monterrey a victory over 10-man Chivas USA in group play at the SuperLiga tournament.
Note
• Spain set an international record with its 15th straight victory, 2-0 over host South Africa at the Confederations Cup in Bloemfontein. The win broke a tie with Brazil, France and Australia.
Spain (3-0) finished first in Group A with nine points, five ahead of South Africa (1-1-1). Iraq (0-1-2) was third with two points after a 0-0 tie with New Zealand (0-2-1).
