FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Chad Marshall scored his fourth goal of the season and the Columbus Crew held on for a 1-0 MLS victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday night.
The Eastern Conference-leading Crew (15-6-5) extended its unbeaten streak to seven (6-0-1) matches, beating New England for the second time in three meetings this season.
Marshall headed in the goal off Robbie Rogers' corner kick from the left in the 35th minute. It was his third game-winning goal and the first surrendered on a corner kick this season by New England (12-8-6).
Columbus played the final 25 minutes short-handed after captain Frankie Hejduk was issued his second yellow.

at Toronto FC 1, Dynamo 1
Marvell Wynne scored for Toronto, but teammate Hunter Freeman had an own goal and Toronto FC had to settle for the tie with the Houston Dynamo, stretching Toronto's winless skid to seven games. Houston had a defensive blunder by Toronto for its goal when Freeman headed the ball backward over Toronto goalkeeper Greg Sutton.
Rapids 1, at Red Bulls 4
Conor Casey's third goal of the game, a volley with a little more than a minute remaining, gave the Colorado Rapids the victory over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday night. The deciding score came when Casey made his way past two defenders and put his volley past goalie Jon Conway in the 90th minute.
at Chivas USA 2, Kansas City 1
Alecko Eskandarian and Sasha Victorine scored first-half goals in the win, and Chivas USA remained in second place in the Western Conference standings, two points ahead of both Colorado and Real Salt Lake. The win was Chivas' second consecutive victory and fourth in the last five matches. Kansas City, meanwhile, dropped to 1-7-5 on the road and has not won a road match since April.

Javier Morales scored on a free kick in the 59th minute, and Real Salt Lake handed the San Jose Earthquakes their first loss in 10 matches with the victory. Real Salt Lake is tied for third place in the West, the last guaranteed playoff spot, with 34 points. San Jose remains tied for sixth with 29 points.
Note
• Arsenal was stunned by Premier League newcomer Hull 2-1 in the season's biggest upset. The Gunners were knocked out of first place while title rivals Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool all won 2-0.
Daniel Cousin headed in the winning goal in the 66th minute for Hull, a 104-year-old club playing in the top tier of English soccer for the first time.
