When: Today, 5 p.m.

Where: Qwest Field.

Records: Sounders are 15-10-4 overall, 12-10-4, 40 points, third place in the seven-team Western Conference; Islanders are 5-16-6, 21 points, eighth place in nine-team Eastern Conference.

Radio: KKNW (1150 AM), broadcast begins 15 minutes before kickoff; KXPA (1540 AM) in Spanish.

TV: None.

Notes: A win in this match and a loss by Milwaukee next Thursday in Calgary would clinch a spot in the playoffs for the Sounders. The Sounders would be at 43 points, and even if Milwaukee won two of its last three, the Wave United would lose the head-to-head tiebreaker. Seattle won the season series with Milwaukee 2-0-2. ... Seattle enters with the momentum of a four-match winning streak and a stretch of 5-1-1 in its past seven games.
